A 7 days Master Class exploring spatial awareness, led by TRIANGULAR PROJECT
Venue: Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture, Kefalonia Island, Greece.

This master class consists of a conceptual framework exploring spatial awareness as well as technical workshops in sound and video recording, painting, action/performance, installation, and sculpture. Participants will acquire artistic tools and methods to investigate spatial awareness. They will develop and exhibit a personal project. They will also be encouraged to reflect on their personal artistic practice and that of their fellow artists.
DESCRIPTION OF THE CLASS

Experiments will emerge out of studies of space developed in-situ on the inspiring landscape of Kefalonia island (aural spaces, colors of the landscape, etc.).

Participants will partake in daily theoretical seminars, practical workshops, and site-specific action-performances.

Participants will experiment with their sense and perception of space using creative techniques.

Participants will learn how to develop a conceptual framework for an individual project in which the artistic process is central to the creation of the piece.

Time will be allotted for the development of participants' projects.

Technical support in video, photography, field recording, action, performance, installation, drawing and sculpture will be given by instructors.

A public exhibition of the participants' projects will be organized at the end of the master class.

Note: Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, such as laptop, software, digital camera, microphone, etc., depending on the project they wish to develop during the master class.
ELIGIBILITY:

Visual/sound artists, designers, photographers, architects, performers interested in experimenting various situations and methodological models exploring the impact and possibilities of aural, visual and mental (emotional/psychological) spatial awareness.
