Aldous Huxley (1894-1963)

  • Participants will partake in daily theoretical seminars, practical workshops, and site-specific action-performances.
  • Participants will experiment with their sense and perception of space using creative techniques.
  • Participants will learn how to develop a conceptual framework for an individual project in which the artistic process is central to the creation of the piece.
  • Time will be allotted for the development of participants' projects.

  • Reflect on personal practise and that of other participants
  • Exhibit individual work
Note: Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, such as laptop, software, digital camera, microphone, etc., depending on the project they wish to develop during the master class.
  • Visual/sound artists, designers, photographers, architects, performers interested in experimenting various situations and methodological models exploring the impact and possibilities of aural, visual and mental (emotional/psychological) spatial awareness.

TRIANGULAR PROJECT is a collective of visual artists working with the theme of space. The artistic practises of Florine Leoni (Switzerland), Macarena Ruiz-Tagle (Chile) and Sandra Volny (Canada) draw a TRIANGLE - a three-sided shape based on three kinds of perception: perception of psychological/mental space, perception of optical/perceptual space, and aural & spatial awareness.

Working in situ, their interests and actions intertwine with the local community's culture, history and geography. Experimentation is their main tool in approaching the environment.

They consider the process as important as the final work of art. Collective work, side by side with invited participants, unfolds into a shared creation of knowledge.
